**** HAAM NEWSLETTER March 2009
****
- The present Contact for the HAAM
Group is Robert, K6LX (formerly
KJ6IL).
- Gary, WШSDI, one of the Group's
NC's, wrote this nice
article about HAAM recently .
- The Story from Box 459
in 1992 (a bit dated) is available by clicking the
Picture.
- Ben L. (W7FNE, sk) submitted his
story for the publication in the Grapevine which appeared
in the May issue of 1984.
It harks back to the original days of this net which started some 55
years
ago and became a source of substitute meetings for ship's radio operators,
shut-ins,
and others inaccessible to regular meetings. Since then, the
tradition has carried on.
