Anyone who knows anything about me knows how important my pets are to me. Right now my household seems to be shrinking.

I have two dogs, Sammee and Dayzee and one fish left - Ernie

Russ, Phil and I got Callie because the neighbors where we lived moved and left her and her mother. I was able to place her mom, and we kept Callie. She was a tortie calico and I swear she thought she was one of the dogs!
I lost my sweetheart Callie to cancer on April 20, 2007. She was 16 years old. Godspeed my pretty princess, mommy will never forget you or ever stop loving or missing you. Her Rainbow Bridges site is HERE♥♥

Sophee and Sammee were born on Memorial Day, 1998. They are whippet mixes although what they are mixed with, no one knows for sure! They are brother and sister.
It is with the heaviest of hearts I tell you that I lost my beloved Sophee to advanced renal failure, May 5, 2008. Just three weeks shy of her 10th birthday.
Please visit her Rainbow Bridges site HERE, lovingly given to me by her other mommy Robin, and sign her guest book.

In February 2008, I decided that it was time to bring a younger dog into the household. My fear was that when something happened to either Sam or Sophee, because they were so close, that the other would follow shortly. I wanted another dog for them to bond to. I found Dayzee one Friday while looking at rescue dogs. I called Val who had her at her ranch, drove out that day and Dayzee was mine from first lick! She is a two year old purebred Pomeranian who is deaf. My vet thinks she has been deaf from birth. She is such a sweet baby. Turns out Val rescues dogs who are about to be euthanized and adopts them out. I feel so strongly about what she does I wanted a place to show my appreciation. Please, if you are in Arizona and are considering adopting a dog, browse Val's available dogs HERE first. I look at Dayzee and cannot believe someone didn't want her. But then, I have found God does everything for a reason and we were meant to be together. She came into our life at EXACTLY the right time because that's when Sophee started to get sick. Everyone, including my vet, thought it was because of Dayzee. Sophee pouted for about a week and then actually started to play with Dayzee. Sam has taken the death of his life partner VERY hard but I think Dayzee has helped him as much as her presence has helped me. This is what she looked like when I got her, and now I keep her clipped pretty short. She looks like a little teddy bear clipped! She weighs a little over 8 pounds and is all energy!
