Alert supporters: Spam filters block
ConservativePetitions.com emails

In the fight to control spam, some Internet service providers (ISPs) and email services are blocking a lot of good messages from reaching the inbox of ConservativePetitions.com supporters. So if you haven't heard from us for a long time, here's why:

Much of ConservativePetitions.com's email is being unfairly defined as spam and
Many recipients aren't being given a way to say it isn't.

ConservativePetitions.com does not spam. Our news updates go to people like you who have chosen to receive them. Nothing in our emails' content fits the true definition of spam. Yet our messages, like those of countless other organizations and businesses, are not reaching their welcomed destinations.

That's because some ISPs are not yet allowing their customers to determine what is or isn't spam. They offer no means to approve or "whitelist" email for delivery through spam filters. Many of those that do provide a way have too broad a definition of spam that mistakenly includes our messages. What's worse, most of the companies that sell filtering services to large ISPs and mail services will not give a reason why ConservativePetitions.com's email is being blocked.

There's no direct way for ConservativePetitions.com to reach supporters who are being blocked and alert them to this problem. They don't know anything is wrong until realizing they haven't been receiving our news updates. As a result, support for new petitions has dropped off drastically
