The American Trucking Associations (ATA) in partnership with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and the New York State Motor Truck Association will provide anti-terrorism and safety training for New York City area transportation and safety professionals, state and local law enforcement, New York City transit workers, and others on Wednesday, September 15th under an initiative called "Highway Watch(r)." The Highway Watch(r) program, funded by the DHS and administered by the ATA, trains transportation professionals and trucking industry workers to help law enforcement spot national security and safety threats in the transportation environment.
