I will answer the following
questions and add more as time goes by, but as an introduction to sharing the
gospel, let me just say that only the Holy Spirit can cause the heart of man to
change. We are only tools that God
chooses to use so that we might prove ourselves faithful to what He has called
us to do. It is our privilege to share
the gospel, not our burden! If we look
at our life as a consistent and continual testimony, we will always be prepared
to give a reason for the hope that is within us.
1 Pet 3:15,16
15But in your hearts set apart
Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you
to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and
respect, 16keeping a clear conscience, so that those who speak
maliciously against your good behavior in Christ may be ashamed of their
slander.

19Therefore go and make disciples of all

the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20and

Q: Do you ever wonder what you would say to someone if they asked you about your faith?
A: Start by meditating on and praying about 1 Pet 3:15 (above). Be sure and show respect for the other person’s beliefs and try not to give anyone the impression that you are the authority. Stick with the simple answers directly from scripture and don’t be afraid to say you don’t know the answer to a question they might have. Tell them what God has done personally for you and how you have received “peace” that surpasses understanding (Phil 4:5-7)
