I’ll use this page to list some things that have had meaning to me and some things that people have asked about over the years I have taught the Bible. Here are a few to start out with and I will add to the list as time goes on.

Thomas “Stonewall” Jackson, Civil War General, was a God-fearing man, and made a great statement regarding our occasional feelings of failure and worries about outcomes. He said,
“Duty is man’s, results are God’s”
If we remember this in our day-to-day living, we might not worry so much about how things turn out as long as we’re doing what’s right.

Edward Everett Hale (grandson of the famous Nathan Hale of Revolutionary War days) made a statement that we would do well to consider as we live our lives. He said,
I am only one, but I am one
I can’t do everything, but I can do something
That which I can do, I ought to do
And that which I ought to do
By the grace of God, I SHALL do
