This earth may be where we live right now, but it’s not
our home. We live in a great nation,
but we are citizens of a kingdom, which is not of this world. We are bound for the promised land, and we
look forward to the day when we will see our Savior face to face.
Our Goal: The goal and priority of our family is to learn to become humble servants as we represent God’s kingdom to the world. God’s Word, the Bible is our roadmap.
Matthew
5:16 says, “In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see
your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.”
Romans
12:2 says, “Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by
the renewing of your mind. Then you
will be able to test and approve what God’s will is -- his good, pleasing and
perfect will.
Our greatest responsibility is to share the love of Christ
and the truth of the gospel in our local communities and to the ends of the
earth.

We have been blessed over the years and our family has grown to a gang of eight. Let me introduce you to our six children:
Click on the name for a current picture.
Sarah: Sarah was born in Rapid City, SD on Nov 4, 1983. She graduated from Tabb H.S. in June 2002. As of Oct 2003, she is a sophomore at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, VA. After attending Liberty University for her freshman year, she transferred to ODU for the 2003-2004 school year. We see a lot more of her now that she’s closer to home. Norfolk is about 45 minutes away.
Amy: Amy was born in Merced, CA on July 18, 1986. She is now 17 and a senior at Tabb High School in Yorktown, VA. She will graduate in June 2003 and has not yet decided which school she will grace with her presence.
Zachary: Zach is in the eighth grade this year, born in Montgomery, AL on Nov 29, 1989. He is now 13, and is an old pro at Tabb Middle School. His dream job is to test video games. We’re all hoping that this is a passing phase.
Joshua: Joshua was born in Omaha, Nebraska on April 29, 1993 and is in fifth grade this year. He is still very active in AWANA and is planning on achieving the Citation Award which requires 10 years of consistent work and memorization.
Caleb: Caleb was born on the island of Guam, July 29, 1997. He is 6 years old and is doing very well in his school work. He is in his second year of Sparks at AWANA and is enjoying life as a first grader.
Matthew: Matthew was born in Ashburn, Virginia on
January 20, 2000. He is our Millennium
baby and what a joy he is. He was born
with Down Syndrome which was a little bit of a surprise at first, but has
turned out to be a tremendous blessing.
He is definitely holding his own and has firmly endeared himself to
every member of our family. We are very
thankful for Matthew.
