| Who Are We?
KDN Tool is a family operated business that arose from the need for an affordable bench mill early in the spring of 2003. Utilizing a readily available imported bench mill machine as a basis, improvements were added until a proficient CNC machine was produced. That first prototype machine has been the building block for all improvements and enhancements to thier products along the way and still functions flawlessly to this day. KDN Tool devotes a lot of time to testing and research before they release a product into the marketplace.
The company was founded by Kenneth Cardolino who also works full time as a Toolmaker for a worldwide electronics test products supplier. His knowledge regarding the necessity of accuracy, dependability, and his use of "old school" design fundamentals integrated with his vision of modern manufacturing are evident in every solution he sets out to elucidate. His experience begins at a trade related high school in the electronics program. He entered a working co-op program his junior year performing various duties at a goverment approved precision potentiometer manufacturer. From his electronics-based origin, he broadend his palate to include machining and automation technologies with his current full-time employer. His apprenticeship was alongside a Toolmaker who had been with the company for more than forty years, and was kind enough to mentor this young aspiring machinist. His teachings dealt with precision and the ability to fabricate multiple parts precisely using machines that had been with the company as long as he. He bestowed upon Ken a wealth of knowledge that can only be taught by a seasoned veteran of the Toolroom.
Ken is complemented by his wife Donna in the office management section of the business, and their two sons Nicholas and Christopher will one day inherit a prosperous endeavor. As a family they enjoy every minute they spend together and look forward to the next one!
