In September 2005 my son and I took my Granddaughter Merissa on a trip to see Big Brutus in Eastern Kansas.
He was riding his 1985 Goldwing. Yep she fell asleep. :-)
I was on my 2005 HD Ultra.
We left late morning and stayed in Parsons overnight. Got up the next morning had the continental breakfast with the railroad workers.
I think the railroad had taken most of the motel for their crew. Left for West Mineral and Big Brutus. And, this is what we found.
