Vintage Collection ~ Volume 3 is the first release in a series of projects that will reintroduce the listener to The Tulsans of yesteryear. Instead, Joyous Praise Ministries will be holding a New Talent Search on October 18th. This decision was made after learning that a sizable number of local artists would not be able to participate and compete due to conflicting bookings. This move will also allow us an opportunity of offering it on a larger scale. Please continue to tell performers that we they should enter the New Talent Search and the Talent Contest. They could very well be the winner of one of our fabulous prizes. To be held on October 18, 2003, this Talent Contest will not only be a chance to see some of the best groups and soloists in the area, but it will also aid to promote the careers of a couple of lucky winners. Doyle McAlister has announced that this concert will be a reunion concert, which will feature current and past members. The fund raiser is scheduled for July 26, 2003 at 6:00 p.m., and will be held in the Catoosa Middle School Auditorium (confirmation pending).
