In 2007 we took 3rd Place in the Hampton Roads Regatta, St. Jude's Flounder Tournament.
Some Nice Flounder between 4 and 7 pounds caught while fishing the Hampton Roads Regatta, St. Jude's Flounder Tournament 2008. We missed 3rd place this year by less then half an ounce for the combined weight of our three largest fish. We had 14 flounder combined weight of 70 pounds. Overall a good day of fishing.
I had the privilege to participate in the “First Annual Youth Development Hooked on Fishing Adventure”. We had Boy Scout Troop 375 in the Southern Chapter of the VCBA where 3 Charter Boats participated. We where able to get the 13 very well behaved young men and their 3 chaperons out to learn about fishing in the bay. We caught Croaker, Grey Trout, and a couple small Flounder. They were all given new fishing poles donated by Abu Garcia and Ball Caps from Virginia Recreational Fishing Development and a free fishing trip. We all had a Great Time.
