“Hero's on the Bay” ran out of Little Creek Amphibious Base on October 4th 2008 was an awesome event. I was privileged to volunteer to take these wounded Vets out fishing. There was about 125 Wounded Vets from as far away as NJ. Our goal was to coin a phrase "Keep The Fun Meter Pegged". We did just that with a fast bight of big croaker and they had a ball. I served 24 years in the Navy and consider myself lucky. The sacrifices these Vets gave serving our Great Country to preserve our Freedom is so real. I was so happy to show these guys a good time.

A Half Day Family trip proves fruitful with a Limit of Big Striper in short order on one of our January Trips. We all enjoyed plenty of fresh Striper Fillets from this trip.

There is a lot of potential for the really Big Striper in the Winter Coastal Season. This was just one Big Striper giving him a good fight. We use a little heavier tackle in the late Fall and Early Winter Striper Season while trolling to give us a fighting chance when we hit two Big Striper on the same rod using MoJo / Tomic Combinations.
