OLD NEWS IS (STILL) GOOD NEWS
This page contains previous news of the Keystone Kops!
August 2007 -Can't believe it has been almost a year and a half since this thing was up and running! Now that it is, I will try to do a better job of keeping it updated, but I need help from all of you. I need news items, pictures (recent) upcoming events. If I don't have the information, I can't put it on the web page. I know that this weekend (August 25th) we have the Millard Days parade, line up is at 10 am and the parade starts at 11 am. Then, next Friday is the CSSA Skit competition in Kansas City. Hope the boys have been practicing, but I know how they are! Good Luck, you're gonna need it! The annual Steak Dinner and Auction is just around the corner, November 3rd, see a Kop for tickets! Other than that, it's great to be back on line, until next time....Keep on Koppin' - Shave
August 2004 - My how time flies when you're having fun! The annual garage sale (sorry we didn't have any garages for sale) was a huge success, despite the cool, wet weather. I know that the chief appreciates all the efforts of everyone who helped out. I had the opportunity to attend the ISKKA annual meeting in Denver, July 5th, you can see details of that meeting on the ISKKA page. We have had busy parade season and it seems that we are not quite done yet. We are hoping that someone comes up with an idea very soon for a skit at CSSA. Don't have any idear's yet. Our August meeting will be Jerry and Maxine Murphy's in Bennington. Thanks to Chris for getting the steaks at such a good price. Don't forget your side dish and refreshments! The unit purchased some more fire extinguishers (I don't why!), so have fun! And don't put flour in them, it won't work! Well that is about it for now.
July 2004 - The April Meeting was held Venice Inn, there was a great turnout. Not only did "Red Dawg" Regnas make it, but he brought Noble Lee Hoover BACK. It was great to see Lee again and hope we get to see him again, real soon! Parade season is fast approaching so be on the look out for our crazy antics. Looking at the schedule, it looks like we have busy summer. Congratulations to Tyler Goodman, who was elected Captain, after the sudden departure of Scott McCalla and to Dave "Tiny Bubbles" Norton who was elected Lieutent, to fill the vacancy left by Tyler's promotion. I know that both of these men will succeed in their new roles. Well, that's about all for this month, hopefully I will have more to report on next time.
February 2004 -
The weekend of February 19th to 22nd was the 75th Annual Tangier Shrine Circus. What a great time was had by all! We only had one miss fire and even managed to not get the Chief's fez pulled!! He was thankful for that. The cannon skit is one of this writer's favorites. We initiated 3 new members, Chris, Gary and Kevin. Some of them we decided needed a second initiation. Even the Captain and Chief got in on the action! I am looking for pictures if anyone has some.
The Kops and Kuties would like to thank our Junior Past Chief Jeff Burnham and his lady Kim for their leadership this past year. Thanks Jeff and Kim. One of our members, Charlie Greenfield got married to his childhood sweetheart in Arizona on Valentines Day. We also have some sad news to report. Our Captain, Scott McCalla has been transferred to Kansas City, Missouri. He and his lady Leslie will be missed. Scott, thanks for all you have done the last 3 years. We heard that Noble Lee Hoover has been under the weather and one of early day Kops Ivan Stafford is not doing well. Let's keep Ivan in our thoughts and prayers.
The CSSAKK Midwinter Meeting is March 13th, in Tulsa. I wonder how they will try to beat us this year? Maybe we can win 4 or 5 first place trophies this year!!! We that is about all for now. Keep on Koppin' - Shave
December 2003 -
My how time flies when you're having fun! We have already had our annual Steak Dinner and Auction. What a great success that was. Thanks to ALL to of the nobles and ladies who made it so. We have had our election of officers for 2004 and they are:
Craig Crawford - Chief
Scott McCalla - Captain
Tyler Goodman - Lieutentent
Past Chief Darwin Baker - Sergeant (Stepping in to help out)
We also had our 25th Anniversary Celebration. The turnout was small but it was great to our founding father, Carl O'Neal. Also in attendance were Lillian Davis and AnnaLiese Hughes. Can't wait for the 30th!!! Thanks for Red Dawg Regnas for his help and to Craig and Scott for theirs as well. It won't be to long and we will be doing the circus again (February). Be on the lookout for another of zany skits. Be sure to check out the circus photos from last year. Well, that's it for now. Keep on Koppin'. - Shave
October 2003 - Not One, Not Two, but Three first place trophies for the Tangier Shrine Keystone Kops at CSSA in Branson. That's right, we got the Three Peat in the Skit Competition (must be the director, not!), our members also won the Parade and Vehicle Inspection (Thanks to Past Chief Curt Mitchell for the paint job). They keep changin' the rules and we keep winning. Congratulations Kops!!! Curt was complaining because as Chief, Jeff won trophies! One less coat of paint maybe, huh, Curt? We must also say farewell to a Kop who can only be described by "WHAT!", our Liuetenant Charlie Greenfield is moving to Arizona, to reunite with his childhood sweetheart, good luck Charlie, she'll need it!
Our annual Steak Dinner and Auction is coming soon, in fact October 25th at Tangier Shrine Center. Dinner begins at 6:00 P.M., the auction will follow dinner. Cost for this FANTASTIC steak dinner (8 oz Sirloin, potato, and other good things) is $7.00. Where can you get a steak dinner anywhere else? Don't forget, all of the proceeds do go to the Tangier Shrine Keystone Kops.
June 2003 - Where does the time go? We are already into the parade season. Our May meeting was at Gaeta's. The usual fun and frivolity were in hand. We have a couple of new rookies, Kevin Keller and Trent Stier. Trent is the son of one of our Kops Phil and Kutie Pam Stier. I played the father/son thing once Trent, all I can say is good luck!! Our first parade was the Florence Days parade and we had a fair turn out of Kops. It was good to see Rich Pahls back after a long absence. It is with great sadness that we had to say "farewell" to one of our most loyal Kuties, Margaret Miller. Margaret passed away on May 11th. We will all miss her. We extend our heart felt condolenses to Howard and his family.
I am still looking for new pictures. If anybody has some they would like to share, e-mail or send them to me. We will be celebrating our 25th Anniversary as shrine unit in August. Stay tuned for all of the details. Well, that's about all for now, catch you on the parade route. And Keep on Koppin'. - Shave
February 2003 - Our February meeting was held at Gaeta's Restraurant. Great food and company were on the menu as usual when the Kops get together. The Tangier Shrine Circus is just around the corner (April 10 - 13). We will be busy getting ready to perform another one of fantastically funny (sometimes) skits. Does anyone know what were doing yet??? Several of the Kops went to the CSSAKK Midwinter Meeting. Boy talk about FUN. There are some major changes coming to the competition. There will be separate competitions for the Skit, Uniform Inspection and Vehicle Inspection, plus the Parade Competition. CSSA should be real interesting! If anyone has pictures that they would like to put on the website, let me know. Not much to say this month, just get out there and sell those Circus Ads and tickets. Until next month - Keep on Koppin'. Shave
January 2003 - And away we go!!! 2003 is off and running. Our January meeting was held at Valentino's Pizza. A small but, enthusiatic group was on hand. The order of business was the passing of the torch! Junior Past Chief Curt Mitchell turned over the reins to our new Chief Jeff Burnham. To Curt and his lady Pam, the Kops thank for your serice the last 4 years. You did a great Job!!! Curt, I won't tell anyone about 5 cents you could find as treasurer (oh I just did!). Pam, we especially thank you, because we know who keeps Curt straight. Thank you both again for your time and talents. Now on to our new chief and his line officers. They are ready to step up and contimue to build unit into one of the best in Tangier. Jeff and his lady Kim will do a fantastic job of keeping going in that direction. There will be many challenges this year and we know that you will meet and overcome them.
December 2002 - Our Christmas Party was held at Tangier Shrine Center. There was plenty of good food and fellowship to around. We had our usual "very interesting" gift exchnage. Hope everyone got what they wanted. It was a very nice evening. At our January, we will install our new officers. In November we had a GREAT Auction!! The food was well prepared by Past Chief (Chef) Mike Horton. Assisted by Tony Meicher and several helping hands. We had many great things to auction off, mostly due to the efforts of Past Chief Darwin Baker. Although several other Kops also provided or gathered items. Thanks to Past Chief Gary Krause and his lady Lynn for handling the auction tickets. Thanks to all of the Kops who there to cook, serve and cleanup. And as usual a BIG THANKS to our Kuties for another outstanding effort as well. We know that we can always count on them. Our November meeting meant that it was time for the election of officers for 2003. The following were elected:
Chief -Jeff Burnham
Captain - Craig Crawford
Luietenant - Charlie Greenfield
Sergeant - Scott McCaula
We know that this group will do a great job leading us next year. Thanks to Chief Curt Mitchell and his lady Pam. I will say more about them next month. Next month is our annual Christmas Party, don't forget your small gift for the gift exchange, it might be the one thing that everyone wants. Until next month - Keep on Koppin' - Shave
October 2002 - Our October Meeting was held at Gaeta's. A small but energetic group turned out. The main topic of discussion was the preparation for our Annual Steak Dinner and Auction, coming up November 16th. Next month is also election of officers for 2003. A few final words about CSSA. Nobles, I am proud of the way you performed in the terrible weather conditions. You were true troopers. You stood in the cold pouring rain for inspection and then went out performed extremely well. Tyler Goodman and Scott McCalla should have pneumonia, Tyler standing out there in his boxers and t-shirt and Scott in loin cloth. We need to tweak the pie machine, just ask Ed Luick and Jerry McMurphy. Captain Jeff Burnham and I took spills on the wet asphalt. Dave "Tiny Bubbles" Norton, what was that white powder you got all over yourself? And I also understand that Chief Curt Mitchell had a little mud in his pie. How did that get there? Kuties, we thank you for supporting us and standing in the rain to cheer us on! Thanks.
September 2002 - Wow, what a busy summer we have had! Where has it gone? With parades and fund raisers we were kept very busy. We had great success in our joint fund raiser with the Racers and we enjoyed working with Doc and his crew. We also had our usual successful Garage Sale. Don't forget that our Steak Dinner and Auction is coming up November 16th. Click on the button above for more information. Now, down to the serious stuff!! Congratulations to of the units that participated at CSSA. There was some very tough competition. The new units, Sesotris (2nd Place); Abou Ben Adhem (3rd Place) and Akdar (4th place) really did great! However, it was the Tangier Shrine Keystone Kops that stole the show. We took 1st Place. I for one was very nervous as they announced each position. Great job Nobles and thanks to the Kuties to for putting up with the practices and time away. Also, congratulations to Noble Darwin Baker, who was named the receipent of the Bert Cooper Memorial Award. This is the highest honor you can receive in the CSSAKK. I also want to say what a great pleasure it was to host Noble Tom Rombach from St. Petersburg, Florida and his lady Carole while they were here.
July 2002 - Where does the time go! We have gone from the nice cool spring time (70 degrees at Florence Days - That was a bit chilly) and now we are in the heat of summer. As the temperatures rise, so do the Kop activities. We have had two main fund raisers this month. Our joint fund raiser with the racers went very well. Our annual Garage Sale was also a big success. Thanks to all of the Kops and Kuties who donated time, effort and some money to these events. The Ralston parade was on the 4th, the weather was hot as always, so the Kops required EXTRA water to keep cool! It appears that we have several new potential Kops that could be joining our unit very soon (we can always use new "Rookies"). CSSA is coming up in September, so (for our competition) we will not worry about that until the end of August! The July meeting was held after the Garage Sale on the 13th, with the big topics being "how much money did we make?". The week of June 22-26, my family and I made the journey to Vancouver, B.C., where we met several members of the ISKKA, who I had not met, but have corresponded with via e-mail. It was a great experience and only reinforces the need for our annual meetings to be held during the Imperial Session. DON'T FORGET THE ANNUAL STEAK DINNER AND AUCTION COMING NOVEMBER 16TH. WATCH FOR DETAILS TO FOLLOW!! Well, that's it for now, keep cool and if you need a little help doing that, ask a Kop, I sure he would be glad to assist! Until next time, keep on Koppin' - Shave
November 2001 - Our Monthly Meeting was held at Valentino's on November 9th. The food was delicious and the company as always was good as well. We have a new prospective member, who petitioned the Kops, his name is Scott M. (full last name to follow). He relocated due to his job and is a former member of Midian Temple's LOH. There was some lively discussion on some interesting topics, but the big news was that our Steak Dinner and Auction was as big a success as we thought! We also elected our officers for 2002 and they are:
Curt Mitchell - Chief; Jeff Burnham - Captain; Craig Crawford - Lieutenant; and Eric Casper - Sergeant
We know that these nobles will do an outstanding job of leading our unit for the next year and beyond! We have several members that are active members of the U.S. Military. We haven't seen some of them due to service to our country and we want them to know that we miss them and appreciate their service. And when they return, we will welcome them back with WIDE OPEN arms. We wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving!
October 2001 - The Kops' monthly meeting was held at the Shrine Center, with the main topic of discussion being the Steak Dinner and Auction, on October 13th. What a GREAT BIG success that was! The meal was excellent, thanks to Tony Meicher for arranging for the steaks and cooking along with Past Chief Mike Horton. Also thanks to everyone who donated an item to be auctioned, because without the donations, there would be no auction. A special thanks to Past Chief Darwin Baker for arranging for a lot of the items. Also, we cannot forget to thank the Kuties for their hard work. Chief's Lady Kim Ognissanti and Tiffany Baker were the primary decorators. By the way, the Red, White and Blue was an excellent choice for colors! Again thanks to everyone who came and worked and to those who came and ate and bid on things.
Many of the Kops and Kuties from Tangier and a few from Sesostris made the trip to the Minneapolis Shrine Hospital Unit and all were touched. For many, it was the first time to visit one of the hospitals. That is a moving experience, as I can testify to. A trip to the Mall of America was also in order. The trip was excellent and we should look to do it again. Our November meeting will be Election of Officers, so plan to be there for that, as we elect our leadership for the next few years. Til next time. Keep on Koppin' - Shave
August 2001 - Well, the Garage Sale was a HUGE success, thanks to all of the Kops and Kuties who helped out and a special thanks to Ron and Vicky Howell and Jerry and Maxine McMurphy. These couples served as the chairpersons for the event. The July meeting was held after the sale on Saturday, with most of the discussion concerning the enginge in the paddywagon. Looks like it may have made it's last hoorah! We have several parades coming up in August as well as preparation for CSSA. We are still looking for a good idea for a skit, if anyone has one. IF ANY KOPS OR KUTIES HAVE PICTURES, PLEASE SEND THEM TO ME AND I WILL PUT THEM ON THE PHOTOS PAGE!!!!(so Darwin will leave me alone! ha ha !)That's about all for this month -Until next time- Keep on Koppin' - Shave
April 2001 - Ah! It's circus time, can't you just smell the "sweet" smell of ELEPHANTS! We have dusted off one of our favorite skits for this year! However, I can't tell you what it is, you'll have to buy a ticket to find out! The Kops are ready, so let the show begin! Our monthly meeting was held at Gaeta's and as usual, the food the great. We had a couple perspective members present, Bryan Rock and Steve Cash and wouldn't you know it, after we let go of their arms, they decided to join the Kops. We took care of our normal business and talked CIRCUS! Before I forget, we are happy to announce that Noble Lee Hoover has made it home! Lee and Betty, we look forward to seeing you both next month. We have a busy month coming up, so Kops, wash that uniform and let's get ready to do our thing for the Kids. Jeff and Curt, with some help from Phil and Rocky about have the paddywagon ready for parade season and the bucker shouldn't be too far behind. Thanks nobles. Well, until next month - Keep on Koppin' - Shave
March -2001- It's FINALLY starting to look like Spring around here and we Kops know what that means! The circus is just around the corner. Time to pull that uniform out and dust off the moth balls. Our February meeting was held at Scott's Restraurant. The main topic of the evening was the upcoming circus. However, we did take time to vote in a new member, Noble Phil Stier was elected. Welcome Brother Phil and Lady Pam! I am sure we will initiate Noble Stier appropriately at the circus. I have also heard that some of the Kops from Sesotris Temple in Lincoln will be coming up to join us for some fun and games. Our prayers and best wishes go out to Noble Lee Hoover, who is recovering from by-pass surgery. Lee is a charter member and Sergeant Emeritus of our unit. Lee we miss you and Betty, get well and come back soon. Personally, I would like to thank the nobles who attended the Installation of ISKKA officers on January 18th, it was great to have such a great showing from "my" unit. Anyway, that's about it for this month, be sure to check out the calendar of events and until next time, keep on Koppin! - Shave
February 2001- The February 2001 meeting was held at Valentinos Pizza. It was a small group that ventured out into the snow and cold, but the atmosphere was warm and friendly. We had a couple of guests, Noble Phil Stier and his Lady Pam. Phil is new member in Tangier, looking for a unit and wouldn't you know, before the night was through, he submitted his petition to join the Kops (it only took six of them to twist his arm hard enough to make him sign). The circus is coming up fast, only two months away and there is a lot of work to do. If you haven't got your tickets yet contact Noble Ken Summerfield. Until next month, keep on Koppin' - Shave
December 2000 - Our December meeting, which was more of a Christmas Party, was held at Tangier Shrine. We were honored by the presence of Assistant Rabban John O'Laughlin and his Lady Mary. We would like to let them both know how much we appreciated seeing this at meetings this past year, thank you John and Mary. We had a little "cheer" and gift exchange, which was very exciting, since you didn't know what you were going to end up with, until the last person picked their gift. The evening was very pleasant as was the company. Also going on this month, about 10 Kops went to Lincoln, Nebraska, to assist another Keystone Kop unit get going. That's right, Sesostris Temple is starting a new Kop unit!!! And if all goes well, they will be members of CSSAKK and ISKKA, before the end of summer. We certainly wish them well and we will do whatever we can to help them. Tangier's Ceremonial was held on December 2nd and from what I hear, there was a pretty group of new nobles. Finally, as we wind down to the end of this year, the year 2000 has been a banner year for the Tangier Shrine Keystone Kops and we look forward to 2001, with great anticipation that it can be even better! Happy Holidays to ALL!! And keep on Koppin'.- Shave
November 2000 - November has been an important month for the Kops. At our monthly meeting which was held at Gaeta's Restaurant, we had a very good turnout for the election of officers for 2001. The officers elected were Ezio "Rocky" Ognissanti - Chief; Curt Mitchell - Captain; Jeff Burnham - Lieutenant and the new guy on the block is Craig Crawford, who was elected Sergeant. Congratulations to all and we are sure that you will do your best. Other than the elections, the main topic of the meeting was the Steak Dinner and Auction. That was held on November 18th and what a success that was. A big THANKS to Junior Past Chief, Gary Krause for overseeing the whole event. Also, a special thanks to our chefs, Mike Horton, Tony Meicher and Ken Summerfield, who kept those steaks coming. I know that Chief Darwin would like to thank each and every Kop and Kutie, who got donations and then came did their part to make this our best one yet! Thanks to All. One other thank you needs to go to Assistant Rabban John O'Laughlin, who of his own "free will" took a pie for our cause. Thanks John. We also had some guests from the Moila Kops, Chief Billy Ray Smith and Mark Crawford and their ladies and Murph was also there. And Billy Ray took a pie the Kuties. The Kuties thank you Billy Ray. We still have several activities before the end of the year. Until next month, keep on Koppin'- Shave.
October 2000 - Wow, we are heading towards November! Where has the year gone? Our October meeting was held at Mr. C's, the food and fellowship was great. Chief Darwin did a great job of keeping the meeting short! We all appreciate that! The main order of business was discussing the auction. We were honored with the presence of the Assistant Rabban John O'Laughlin and his lovely lady Mary. November is a very important month for the Kops as we have Election of Officers for 2001 at our regular meeting and then we are having our major fund raiser for the year, the Steak Dinner (yes real steak!) and Auction. The cost is ONLY $ 6.50 per person, where else in town can you get a steak dinner for that price. You can buy tickets from any Kop or tickets will be sold at the door. We will have a lot of neat stuff to auction off so don't miss out! Kops, don't forget to get those donations! We are also trying something new this year, Booz Baskets. We borrowed the idea from theMoila Keystone Kops, sure hope they don't mind! Well that's enough for now! Keep on Koppin - Shave
August 2000 - We are already moving into the "Dog Days of August". July was a busy month with 5 parades and couple of money makers thrown in. Things don't slow down in August either. Check out the Calendar of Events! Not too many parades this month, but had the Douglas County Fair that we worked on August 5th and 6th as a fund raiser and the FOP annual picnic coming up later this month. Plus, we still have to put together some sort of skit for CSSA. If anyone has any ideas(at this point they don't have to be good ideas) Rocky and Skit Committee would sure like to hear them! Nobles, on July 19th I had the opportunity to travel to the Shrine Hospital in Chicago with the players from the South Team that played in annual Shrine Bowl Game in Lincoln on July 22nd. I have been a shriner for over 15 years and now I know first hand, the reason we do what we do. If you ever get the opportunity go and visit one the hospitals, DO NOT hestitate to go. I thank the Chief for giving me the opportunity. Well, I have rambled on enough for this month, so until next month, keep on Koppin' - Shave
July 2000 - The long hot days of summer are finally upon us and the activity of our unit is getting just as hot. On the weekend of the June 23-25, 8 Kops went to St. Joe for the ISKKA meeting and several others worked a fund raiser for us, thanks to a couple of Past Chiefs, Gary Krause and Mike Horton for heading that up. We just completed a very successful Garage Sale, thanks to Jerry McMurphy and Ron Howell and their ladies for making sure that it was successful. We have the many parades and gigs coming up so check out the Calendar of Upcoming Events. Also, if you haven't done so yet CSSA registation is due July 22nd. Remember, Tangier will be going for the 3 peat this year. And don't forget to check out the new Tangier Shrine Website. A big thanks goes to Noble Randy Behounek for this dandy little site. And before I forget congratulations to Chief Darwin and his lady Tiffany on their recent marriage. That's it for now, until next time, keep on Koppin!!!- Shave
April 2000 - WOW!!! What a circus we had! This might have been the best one in many years - since this Kopper has been a small lad. And you might say the theme for the Kops this year was PIE, PIE, PIE!!!! I think there were a 13 total, let's look at of some of the leading candidates - Charlie Greenfield (our newest member) got 3 pies (that might be a record for the circus), Chief Darwin got 2, one from yours truly, which he never saw coming and for which I will probably pay dearly for, but it was worth it! And yes, I would do it again! Well, with all of our new members duly initiated and the circus behind us it is time to think about the parade season. I would like to mention that Imperial Sir Ralph Semb will be at the Tangier Temple monthly meeting in May, so let's have a good turnout. Hopefully, after the May meeting I will have some pictures from the circus. Keep on Koppin' - Shave
February 2000-This is for those who were there and still missed the meeting! Hope you didn't blink or you missed something. First of all, it was great to see that Past Chief Barry Mayfield was able to crawl out from under his rock and pay us a visit. Before I forget, we would like to pass on our condolenses to Howard and Margaret in loss the of her father. Now back to the good stuff. Sure were a lot of fines being handed out for uniform infractions. Chief, I wouldn't try to pull another fast one, like Friday night, it might get you a pie! The mid-winter meeting of CSSAKK will be held on the 26th of this month in Kansas City at Abdallah Temple. The paddy wagon is almost ready to paint, however the bucking car is a little behind schedule. Jerry has made some coolers for the paddy wagon, thanks Jerry! That's it for this month, keep on Koppin'. - Shave
What's Happenin' and What's Happened!
Our Christmas party was held at Farmer Brown's Restraurant in Waterloo and it was great to see so many of us there. We had about 40 people in attendance and you could sure tell it! Before I forget, a big welcome to our newest members Ron Howell and his Lady Vicky and Tyler and Tracey Goodman. Thanks to Curt and Pam Mitchell for opening up their home to us for some more celebration once we left the restraurant. The paddywagon is getting an OVERHAUL, thanks bunches to Jeff, Darwin, Curt and Eric. We have the circus coming up in April, so it'll be time to start dusting off those uniforms and if anyone has an idea for the skit - call Rocky! Also I could use some new pictures, I have received several remarks concerning the one with Howard and the womens' shower room. Keep on Koppin'!!!
Congratulations to our 2000 Officers!
At our November meeting we elected our officers for the year 2000. And they are:
Darwin Baker - Chief; Ezio "Rocky" Ognissanti - Captain; Curt Mitchell - Lieutenant and Jeff Burnham is our new Sergeant. We don't know whose is going to need more luck, the new officers or the unit! All kidding aside men, congratulations and good luck! We know that you'll do your best.
What a weekend in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
The Tangier Shrine Keystone Kops broke their 0 for Oklahoma streak during the weekend of September 2-4, 1999, with a clean sweep of the skit competition, the Bert Cooper Award which was presented to Howard Miller of Tangier and they finished things off by winning the parade competition on Saturday morning. Also 3 of the 4 nobles that won the King Krapper race were from Tangier as well. A special thanks goes to Jeff Burnham for all his hard work and Jerry and Maxine McMurphy for their contributions as well! Congratulations to all and we have a lot of work to do for next year!!!
