On July 21 1999  The dedication Took place during a Tour of the Facilities by Members of the W4MT Peninsula ARC appox. 45 were present for the presentation to Family members Wife Barbara KB4AXR, Daughter Dicey KF4POE and Son Chris W4MWC.  Crowder had been the EC for Newport News Ares for some 18 years at the time of his Passing in  Jan. 98  Adrian had been actively involved in Several relocations of the city's EOC and had given input for the new center which was completed in spring of 1999.  

In addition to planning and coordinating communications for Public Service Events for local organizations such as March of Dimes, Operation Smile And The Local Volunteer Action Group, He also served on Standing Committees for March of Dimes Walkathons and Ride for Heathlier Babies Annual Events.

Adrian also served with the Hampton Roads Chapter of the American Red Cross on its Disaster Teams providing assistance to Disaster Victims and on the Chapters First Aid Teams  providing First Aid at Numerous Public Events. There are Many things to be Said  about Adrian but they all go back to one simple thing He Always gave for Others and we his friends are Very proud to have Worked with him and Celebrate with his Family This Very Well Deserved Honor..
