The Heaviest I Have Ever Been!

My open Roux-en-Y Gastric Bypass day, July 16, 2001 ~ I weighed a whopping 450 pounds. I was waiting in day surgery at UMC, when Doc soon came to me and asked "Are you sure this is what you want? It's not to late to climb off this gurney and go home!!!" I proudly smiled and said, "Doc, I am at peace with my decision, lets do the operation!" (My knees would have been knocking together but that was impossible because they haven't touched in many years..)

In 1993 while taking "Adipex" for weight control. I weighed about 275# for a year or so.

The weight came on like gang busters after I quit taking Adipex.
