Introduction

This is my genealogy web page.

It principally involves ancestors from Norway,  Hansons  (paternal grandfather) and Nelsons (paternal grandmother). They emigrated in the late 1800's. Both sets ended up in Mayville, ND somehow.  There are kin scattered throughout Wisconsin, Minnesota, and primarily North Dakota.  There are many individuals who have helped. I clearly realize that this a joint effort by our genealogic community.

I have assembled the genealogy in two different ways.  Two branches are set up. They are both viewable as a downloadable

Hanson PDF and a Nelson PDF

Of course, I assume that most internet users are familiar with PDF files.

Alternatively, I have Hanson Pages and Nelson Pages as part of this site.  A few notes about these trees.

• Last names of girls whose names are suffixed with "datter" instead may end with "dtr".

• Last names are often farm (gaard) names.  Those farm names will at times be in parentheses.

• Excuse some spellings.  Research often leads to different spellings.

• My grandparents are indexed as Generation I.  It goes up from there.

• PLEASE correct me if you have any additions or deletions.
