Digital Photography

Introduction

Currently, my digital photography falls into two groups: still and video. My first foray into digital photography was video.

Video

I bought a used Canon Optura MiniDV camera with an Amphibico underwater housing.

When I was Dive Mastering for Drew's Dam Divers, I used the video camera to take pictures of the Colorado River (below Hoover Dam) and some other sites while traveling. I really need to get some of the footage ripped to video files.

Still

I primarily use the Canon and Pentax now. They both take excellent pictures.

Equipment:

• Pentax Optio S6: 6 MP sub-compact. This will be for travelling.
• Canon Digital EOS Rebel XT: 8 MP SLR.
• Olympus C3040 with the PT-007 underwater housing.
