March 1st: Lady Bears vs. San Clemente
On Saturday, March 1st we played against the Gators. The match went extremely well, and Coach Paul said that he thought it was our best match yet. We played more as a team than ever before. This last match we used all of the tactics we have been working on, like getting better at malls, scrums, line outs, and advancing as a wall. What was also a huge improvement is that we did not do nearly as much of the “honeybee” technique, clumping together whenever there is a tackle situation. Instead we advanced as a wall with stronger defenses than ever before. Even though we had a draw, we are all extremely proud of our progress. Keep up the good work Lady Bears!

April 5th: Lady Bears vs. Back Bay
Our game against Back Bay provided a satisfying win with improvements over previous games, namely in our defense, support play, and aggressive tackling. The final score was 17-5 to us, with 2 tries in the first half and 1 converted try in the second. Our most impressive score came after some fantastic passing in which almost every Lady Bear handled the ball, finished off by a try by Fatima and a successful conversion by Liza. It was an enjoyable match for both sides, and we were very impressed by how Back Bay never gave up and always played their best, scoring a try in the second half. Our excellent support play lead us to a convincing win.
