The Lagunita Writers' Group began over twenty years ago as the result of a writing class at Saddleback College. The writers decided to continue studying together and began to meet on a regular basis to share their works.

Today we meet weekly in a private home.  Each person brings a chapter or up to ten pages of material for review. Those present make suggestions and offer encouragement.  However, the underlying agreement between the members is that all suggestions are merely that: suggestions. All members are encouraged to find their unique voices and express their own styles.
