Julie
is an award-winning watercolor artist and writer. She has earned
the Pen Woman Award in Children's Literature and two awards in the Top
100 writers in Writer's Digest. Currently working on three children's
novels and ten picture books, she has been published in

Lorna &
Larry Collins grew up together in Alhambra, California and have been
married forty years with one daughter, Kim. Larry was a project
engineer on Universal Studios Japan, and Lorna was in Document Control.
They now reside in Dana Point, California where Larry enjoys surfing in his
spare time.

Maria Grazia Swan
Italian-born
Maria G. Swan loves to write. At fourteen, she received her first award
for a short story. Although most of her credits are for non-fiction,
mystery is her true love. Swan is fluent in Italian, French and English.
Presently she lives in Phoenix, Arizona where she sells real estate
while working on her next book, scheduled for publication with

Christie is married,
lives in Dana Point, California, and has a
BA degree in English. She has had two books, short stories and poetry published,
has completed five novels and has been employed as a professional writer
for a large Orange Country, California corporation. She is currently
writing a new novel, Lucky Dog, which was a finalist in the 2006 Fresh Voices
Awards. |

Harvey Mendez
Harvey,
born in Wisconsin, moved to Arkansas from Laguna Beach, California in
1999 with his wife, Ann. He is a pharmacist, licensed in three states,
and hopes to make a living in writing. He has had three books, short
stories, a poem and an article published and is working on another book.
He has also co-written a screenplay currently entered in three contests,
and three short stories also entered in contests. He runs, walks and
plays basketball and has just published his mystery, Cherokee Murders. |

Margie Taylor
Michigan
native Margie was a newspaper columnist who had occasional magazine
assignments before "retiring" to rear two sons. Her Marine husband's
many career upgrades found them living on both coasts and in-between.
Their bridge hobby provided instant new friends, even in foreign lands.
It still works in California where they live today. |

Luanna & Leonard Rugh
Both native
Californians, Len and Lu met while working together at a Bob's Big Boy
restaurant. They had been married about a year when Len was drafted to
serve in Vietnam. Their moving account of
Len's serious wounding and recovery called Promises Kept: From
Tragedy to Triumph is currently under submission. Lu is working on a
mystery novel, and Len is creating 1st person stories
of inanimate objects. |
