WELCOME TO THE PERSONAL WEB SITE OF DAVE PETKA,
                           an original LanesEnd homeowner and a current LanesEnd Board Member.

Since April 2003, I have been a member of the LanesEnd Board of Directors.  The purpose of my involvement with the Association is to continue to ensure that the high standards of our beautiful LanesEnd neighborhood are maintained, that our money is spent wisely, that all homeowners are treated fairly, courteously, and with respect, and that this Board does not infringe upon your rights nor intrude into your lives with self-serving policies legislated without your approval.  As your watchdog on the Board, I have made it my duty to guard against inappropriate Board actions, misconduct, abuses of power, favoritism, and the squandering of our funds, and have spoken out, when necessary, to ensure that the homeowners are best served.

As promised in the 2003 campaign, in order to improve communication between the homeowners and the Board, I have taken the liberty of implementing this web site.  Its purpose is to keep you better informed about our LanesEnd community and to provide you with a convenient mechanism to communicate your views directly to me so that I may better represent you on the Board.  Please be advised that this web site is neither owned nor operated by the LanesEnd Homeowner's Association.  It was implemented and is solely operated by Dave Petka, as an original LanesEnd homeowner.

On this web site you will find timely information about important issues that your Board of Directors is currently discussing, financial information to see how your money is being spent, and other useful information about our community.  More importantly, this web site will provide you with a convenient means to communicate your thoughts, share your ideas, and voice your concerns about important issues directly to me so that I can convey them to our LanesEnd Board of Directors BEFORE the decisions are made.

It is my sincere hope that this web site will afford you, the homeowner, an opportunity to be better informed as well as to be heard without the inconvenience of having to attend Board meetings.  Of course, I encourage you to become more involved in our LanesEnd community by joining us at our monthly meetings and expressing yourself during "Homeowner Forum".  However, if your schedule limits your availability to attend these meetings, I am available for you to be your advocate.  In your absence, I will gladly be your EYES, EARS, and VOICE on the LanesEnd Board of Directors.
