The trees, shrubs, vines, and groundcovers listed below were recommended to the original Northwood Pointe builders for their known tolerance for heavy soil and minimal water requirements. Individual yards have unique characteristics, such as the amount of sunlight they receive. Therefore, some of these plants may be inappropriate for use in some yards.
