CHECK YOUR VOLUME - LISTEN TO A CLIP FROM MR. ROBIN TROWER'S 23 JUNE 2006 CONCERT
This clip is comprised of two wav files: a slow guitar lead near the end of the show
and the final audience applause. The sound quality is poor due to the fact I was
a good 6 feet away from the left main speaker bank. Maybe I should have been closer?
Me and Mr. Robin Trower next to the Best Western Hotel pool, Springfield, VA, Friday, June 23, 2006, 4:07pm.
I meet him at the complementary hotel coffee pot, he was mixing up some hot chocolate.
I said, "Mr. Trower?!" and he knodded yes. I introduced myself & told him how much I enjoyed
his music while shaking his hand & him saying "thank you".
Then I asked him if he had time to sign my guitar, he said "Make it quick mate".
I ran to the van & retrieved my guitar & he signed it. Then I said "and one for the road"
and snapped this photo. I said "Thank You" & he said "Cheers" and walked into another part of the hotel.
Larter that night my wife recollected the event. She said Mr. Trower meet more fans standing in the check-in line, they shook hands
and he left the building. She noticed Mr. Trower waiting outside next to the pool looking around.
She said to me later "Robin Trower was waiting for you to get your guitar, he waited for YOU, he waited...FOR YOU!"
Many people have had to wait for me but never Robin Trower!
My $35 POS guitar with it's "Robin Trower" signature & my sunglasses laying on a Best Western Hotel
desk in the same building where Mr. Trower was residing.
Another rabid fan such as myself: Mr. Wyle "E. Coyote's" right arm tatoo. He & his son also stayed at
the Best Western Hotel. This picture was taken while standing in line to get into the concert hall.
JAXX Nightclub: The band takes the stage. No restrictions on flash photography...yeeeeehawwww!
Unfortunately for me half of the pictures I took showed totally black or blurry.

It was a hot & loud evening but the band sounded great & the audience was appreciative.
The hand above belongs to one of the luckiest men on the planet. He was a young man in his twenties who was the road crew.
