Bath Remodel 2005

A friend gave me some nice tile left over from his Mom's remodel job. With a bit of adhesive, paint and labor we did a nice bath remodel.

An old mirror finds a new life above a pedestal sink and Williamsburg fixtures. The old cabinet sink had been badly damaged in a flood and the new sink opens the room with much more space. A little paint on the chrome light bar repeats the brushed brass theme.

rThe same brushed brass paint was used on the curtain rod and looks great with Mom's old shower curtain and a fresh navy blue swag cord to match the towels, seat cover and rug.  I used old czech crystal beads to adorn the bottom of the curtain to catch the light. The colors used pick up the blue, gold and purple colors in a the Philip Dunn print of the Royal Pavilion in Brighton UK hanging on the wall. This print came from a 1988 trip to Brighton and evokes good memories.
