I began to read the Bible. (The book that so many loath and claim to have read and understood which, in truth, very few have tried to read and comprehend.) I began with the Gospel of John, and I challenge anyone to read this short book and not be amazed. The main character of the Gospels is a man who claimed to be God. Christianity is the only religion in the world whose “prophet” claims to be God. I also read the Gospel of Matthew, and I found that Jesus’ life to the minute detail was written about by many authors hundreds of years before his birth. When I looked at all of these prophecies, I found that there is no scientific explanation for the accuracy of these statements written by dozens of different authors, hundreds of years before him. Once again, Christianity was unique in its prophecies concerning the man who claimed to be God— Jesus Christ. Furthermore, Jesus says that the only way to know God and have a relationship with Him is not by works but by simply believing in Him.
Who is this “prophet”? Could he be God or just a prophet or a good man? Could there be only one way to “get to” or reach God? Could one religion |
