Shortly thereafter they moved to Newtown on Long Island and then in 1660 to Brooklyn, Kings County, New York to a section called "Flat Lands". Both brothers married daughters of Nicholas Stillwell and both had sons named Nathaniel. In 1664 both families moved to Staten Island, New York near "Old Town" or Dover.
