in Pennsylvania near the West Virginia line north of Morgantown. He,
too, moved to WV, then OH and is buried in Noble Co, near Caldwell. In
1935 a monument was erected there and they are laying out a park - a
memorial to this distinguished citizen.

Word has been received of the death on March 20 in Lakewood, Ohio of
Esther (Greding) Gorby, formerly of Bluffton.
She was the daughter of Calvin and Emma (Ricket) Greding and she resided
in Bluffton until 1916 when she married Charles Gorby, son of Mrs S V
Heckathorn.
Mrs Gorby was formerly a clerk in the Bluffton post office during the
administration of George Lewis and also worked for George Coombs in his
funeral home here. She was a member and soloist in St John's Reformed
church.
Survivors include her husband, Charles Gorby, two sons, Jerome, Chamblee,
Gerogia; and Norm of Dover; one daughter, Mrs Helen Deming, Colorado
Springs, Colorado; seven grandchildren and one great grandson. Three
sisters preceded her in death.
Services were held in Lakewood on March 22 with burial in Lakewood
cemetery. Parents: Calvin Greding and Emma Ricket.
