Louise F. Lukens
Louise F. Lukens, age 77, of 1206 Pasadena ANW, North Canton, died Wednesday in Manor Care following a four month illness. She retired from Springfield Twp. Schools in 1980 after teaching 30 years. Member of Northminster Presbyterian Church, Kappa Kappa Iota sorority, College Club of Canton and AARP. Survived daughters and sons-in-law, Kathie and Michael Gfeller of North Canton and Gretchen and Donald Dennis, Jr., Massillon; sons and daughters-in-law, Robert and Betty Lukens of Gloucester Point, VA and Jan and Kathie Lukens of Hartville; eight grandchildren; sister Mrs. Joseph (Janet) Clary of Columbus. Preceeded in death by her husband, Otis Clive Lukens, in 1974. Private family funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 am in the Karlo & Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Richard H. Scherpenisse officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Hills. Friends may call at the funeral home Friday (tonight) 7-9 pm.
