According to Audrey Kissel Smith, Alice E. Myers was married three times, first to Carver A. Goss, then to a Mr. Fox, and then to Mr. Berger. She possibly lived at Mineral Ridge, close to Niles, Ohio when Mr. Berger died. We apparently don't know Alice's maiden name. From Audrey's notes, Alice must have been married three times. Last names given are Goss, Fox & Berger. Parents: Henry MYERS and Elizabeth Wire.

Heinrich Meyer's bible was owned by Evelyn Mohr Daniels, a descendants of Conrad Myers, of Sarasota FL. In 1988 she gifted the bible to Oberlin College of Oberlin, Lorain Co, OH. The bible contains the birth records of all of Heinrich's children. I contacted Oberlin College in August 2000 and although they have a record of receiving the bible in 1988 from Mrs. Daniel's, they cannot locate it. After an extensive search they advised me that they had discontinued looking for it for the time being.

I, Henry Myers, of Springfield Township, Columbiana County, and state of Ohio, being week of body but of sound mind, memory, and understanding but considering the certainty of death and the uncertainty of the time thereof, do make and publish this my last will and testament in the manner and form following.

First and principally I recommend my soul to the all Mighty God who gave it and my body to the earth to be buried in a Christian burial plot. It is my will that my just debts and funeral expenses be paid as soon as convenient after my decease.

Second, I give and bequeath to my beloved wife Christina Myers in lieu of her right of Dower, one-half of the thirds arising from an article between me and the said and David Myers for our support providing she remains on the place and to have the one third of all my estate during her natural life, then to be equally divided among my children hereafter named: The heirs of my daughter Eve Pitts is to receive one share, Conrad, Michael, Henry, John, Daniel, Jacob, Frederick, David, Peter, Christina, Susanna intermarried to John Beavers, and Mary intermarried to Henry P. Myers. If my son Henry should not pay one hundred and twenty dollars that he is paid more than one of the rest he is to receive nothing, if John Myers refuses to pay Sixty dollars that he is over paid for land he is to receive nothing, if Conrad Myers should refuse to pay a note of twenty-four dollars and seventy-eight cents that has stood over the limitations it is to be taking out of his share, if Daniel Myers refuses to pay a cash book account to the amount of forty dollars it is to be taking out of his share. If the limitations law should cut out any of the notes before my decease it is to be taking out of their share.

Lastly, I hereby constitute and appoint Peter Smith, Esq. and Abraham Ernst executors of this my last will and testament whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this twenty seventh day of May, 1833.
