A Shell of a Cabin The Inside Story: Oct. to Dec. 2005 Jan. to April 2006 May to July 2006 Aug. to Oct. 2006 Nov., Dec. 2006 |
The Wildwood Community Wildwood is an association started in the 1960s. It abuts Granville state forest and is just a few miles across the Connecticut border. The area has two ponds, Cranberry is the larger, Otter the smaller. There are beaches and boat launching areas around both ponds, as well as tennis courts, a camping area and a community house. There are some full time residents though most houses are used in the summers or during the "good" weather. We have found it very peaceful in the winter. Wildwood maintains the roads, and has its own security team which patrols the area. We understand that some of the undeveloped lots have been foreclosed on by the town and will be sold off.
