KENNEDY CENTER CELEBRATIES!

For 2 years in a row, students from the Lightmotifs Music Club have performed at Kennedy Center. They were participants in “The Legendary Tour” sponsored by Kennedy Center and Jordan Kitts Music stores.

The students were given the opportunity to play Steinway grand pianos previously owned by Vladimir Horowitz and Van Cliburn. “The Rhapsody,” a George Gershwin commemorative piano, was also available to be played.

On both occasions students obtained recordings of their performances. In 2003 they received CDs and in 2004 DVDS as a record of their “professional debuts.”
