IRENE LIGHT uses Notation Station

Notationstation.net, an Internet education portal, has become a large part of Irene Light's studio curriculum. The system, free for teachers and students, allows them to learn to identify notes, play different instrument timbres, create compositions, and more. This virtual classroom was the backbone of Irene's "Music Marathon 2000"©, in which students competed in several events, for prizes of ribbons and merchandise. The two-week event culminated Dec. 10, after six technical phases, one solo and two composing phases.
