Adopting a Blinkie

Before you adopt and go running off with a Blinkie, please read a few site rules:

• Please put my "LinkieBlinkie" (Blinkie with "RJ's Blinkies" on it) on your site, and link it back to my page. That way, more people can learn about my site and adopt my Blinkies (for instructions on doing this, see the next tutorial; "Putting a Blinkie on your page").
• Please do not right-click on a Blinkie and copy it into your page. Although this may make it very easy for you, (and making things easy for you is my #1 goal), doing this eats up all my bandwith (amount of traffic allowed through my site). This will make my site shut down, and then there will be no more fun Blinkies. I am sure you understand.

If you find a Blinkie that is really special, you might want to "adopt" it to put on your Blog or Website (see the next tutorial; "Putting a Blinkie on your page.") This is free, easy, and does not require you to download anything. So, here are the steps:

1. Find the Blinkie you want.
2. Right-Click on it, bringing up the toolbar menu.
3. Select "Save Picture As" in IE, or "Save Image As" in Mozilla Firefox.
4. Save the Blinkie somewhere in your computer, where you can find it again.
