Party Ideas

These great party ideas were sent to us by Ramona. Thanks Ramona!

If you have any other ideas..please feel free to send them to us!

Make yellow skidoo frames to fit on Polaroid pictures.  It helps to laminate them.  As each child arrives take their picture in the blow up thinking chair.  (You can get these at many department stores.)  Attach the picture to the frame for each child.  I also had a stuffed Blue and Steve for the children to hold in the picture.  You can also use the stuffed Magenta or any other Blue's Clues character you may have.

The kids also enjoyed playing "Pin the flag on Mailbox" or "Pin the party hat on Blue".

Print the certificate from Nickjr.com and color it.  If you have a scanner or color copier, make copies and then add each child's name to their own personal certificate.  It also helps to laminate these.

Blue kool-aid works great and adding blue food coloring to a white cake.

Print Blue's pawprints and use them for decorations.  I also printed and
colored pictures of all the Blue's Clues characters and used them for
decorations.  (What about adding dark blue pawprints to light blue streamer? or Blue's Clues characters?)

Farley's makes Blue's Clues fruit snacks that my kids love and they are
healthy too!  Also, Mott's makes Blue's Clue's applesauce.

Since I have had these birthday parties, you can now buy many Blue's Clues items.  This is great if you can afford it.  Some of these ideas are a great way to save some money.

You can buy mini bottles of bubbles in clear containers.  Some people use these for weddings.  It works great for parties.  Just add Blue's Clues stickers to the bottles or some blue curling ribbon.

Handy Dandy Notebooks: Thanks Rubara!

You can make some Steve's pattern handy dandy note books with plastic
mesh(blue) yarn (to make the thinking chair pattern on the front cover and attach
the note book to the cover)indexcards or a little notebook (as filler).
