TO CRY OUTLOD
"To Cry Outloud"
Tears can be from misery,
like those in stress and strain;
moments when one can-not see
relief from ill and pain.
* *
Tears we get when we regret
that some things will not change;
but live in hope to strive and cope
with courage to sustain.
* *
And there are tears of heartbreak too..
when one feels all alone;
when friends you knew are far and few,,
and never call by phone.
* *
Then there are tears as sadness calls,
when loved ones pass away,
and many tears of sorrow falls,
in showers of dismay.
* *
But, there are tears of happiness,
of joy and delight;
tears that soothe the heavy breast,
and make the wrong seem right!
* *
Tears of knowing inner peace
that come from when we pray,
for every tear that comes to bear..
will wash the hurt away.
* *
So, go ahead and cry instead
of holding it all in;
and gender has no bearing here,
and crying is no sin!
