Regular readers will recall Fargo, now part of the Mittell pack, the nine-year old foster with whom we couldn't part after his bout with cancer. We found a third lump on his leg recently. Only this time it wasn't a false alarm, like the second one. It was the real thinga mast-cell tumor. Our other miracle man at Country Hills, Dr. John Reid, removed it with clean margins, so things are okay for the time being and Fargo continues to lead a robust, active, high-quality life, happily fetching tennis balls and demanding (and getting) an unconscionable number of ear rubs. We count every added day of life with him hale and hearty a blessing. We hope his good luck will continue to hold for a long, long time.
