Note: This medium is excellent for replate of epiphytic orchids. It does tend to cause proliferation of protocorms when used at full strength; as a result, it may be used to multiply the number of plantlets from protocorms, or it may be diluted to 90%, 80%, or even lower concentrations for general plantlet culture. It is not recommended at full strength for slow-growing plants, or those that do not do well with "hot" media.
