~The LMS Gifted Program serves students through the resource-cluster model. The GRT and the cluster teachers collaborate to plan and  implement differentiated instruction in the classroom.

In conjunction with the Curry School of Education, the University of Virginia offers a residential summer program for gifted and/or high ability students. Students enrolled in grades 4-10 during the 2009-2010 school year may apply to attend a twelve day session.  This year’s tuition is $1100 with need based scholarships available.  They offer three summer sessions to choose from:

Session I: June 20th - July 1st, 2010 

Session II: July 4th - July 15th, 2010 

Session III: July 18th - July 29th, 2010 

Applications will be available December 15th, 2009 (online) and are due February 15th, 2010.
