          Our Mission:

  • To foster democracy, uphold the Constitution of the United States, work towards the elimination of prejudice and ignorance of diversity.
  • To promote knowledge and preserve Korean culture, custom and language, and foster mutual respect of traditional Korean cultural values and American values.
  • To promote active participation of Korean Americans and ethnic groups in the United States in civic and political processes.
  • To promote active participation of Korean Americans and ethnic groups in the United States in the school systems for a successful and quality education.
  • To raise awareness of issues concerning the Korean Americans and other ethnic communities.
  • To promote good citizenship.
  • To protect welfare of Korean Americans and other ethnic groups.

 

The League of Korean Americans, USA (LOKA-USA), Inc. is a national non-profit, non-partisan, educational and charitable organization under the IRS Code 501 (c) (3).  LOKA-USA is dedicated to provide the community with relevant information and services affecting the society.  LOKA-USA also helps to bridge the gap between Korean Americans and the American mainstream by providing educational seminars, symposiums and training.  Founded in 1980, LOKA-USA in pursuit of its mission has carried out numerous activities and events.
