offer links to the Department of Corrections websites that the inmate has been
incarcerated under their State or Federal system. Not all, if any,
criminal information is posted on the government sites. We encourage you
to check them out yourself to help make a better informed decision if you
would like to begin corresponding with any of these incarcerated individuals.
- I have tried to list a few items that I have found that shows if some of
the info might be correct or not, but I encourage any pen pal to also do some
research to truly find out who you might be dealing with. I know that
most of these people trying to make right on what they did. Some are
just passing time and building their mental health by writing these letters.
But a few want to write to you because of the money that you might have.
Just be careful. Any information from websites that I
have posted on each listing can usually be viewed with a click on either their
Name or DoC # shown in their personal listing.

especially if you do not want to give out your home address. That way
you don't have to worry about anything in the future. We feel that it is
always the best course of action to be overly insecure and paranoid about the
