Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned. Mark 16:16
Baptism is often a controversial topic amongst different churches. This saddens me as baptism is a gift from God and is such a simple act of our faith. I believe babies should be baptized just like an adult should be. Baptism is a gift of God given through water and the word. It guarantees you ,as a child of God, the gift of everlasting life. One should reflect on his or her baptism often as it is a reminder of God's love for us. Acts 2:38 says it best: Peter replied, "Repent and be baptized, everyone of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. The promise is for you and your CHILDREN and for all who are far off- for all whom the Lord our God will call."
If you or your children are not baptized I plead with you to do so quickly as your spirit needs this gift! Believing is awesome but you're lacking the second part of God's desire for you. To be His child through Holy baptism.
