Belief

Belief? How can I believe in something I can't see, hear or touch? That's a question I have asked myself before and it's hard to explain to someone who doesn't have a belief in God. I believe in God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit because I believe what the bible says. It makes sense to me. I look at the world around me and think of the awesomeness of it. Belief can come to you if you stop questioning the whys and what ifs of life. You have to accept what God says and know that our human understanding can never answer those questions! It just is! So you say " I believe in God so I will go to Heaven." I'm sorry to have to tell you that you are very wrong. You must believe Jesus is God's one and only begotten son sent to die for all who have sinned. If you don't believe this I strongly encourage you to read the book of John in the New Testament. He can explain Jesus to you in a loving way and you will see how Jesus must fit into your own life. Also, belief also requires us to acknowledge the Holy Trinity, that being the Father (God), Son (Jesus) and the Holy Spirit. Your belief system is not complete with all three.
