Death. The thought of it can be dreadful. While I believe it is normal to be afraid of death (I struggle with the fear) we must remember that death is not the end. Our human bodies are just portals for the human soul. What we must concern ourselves with is our souls. Can you say with 100% certainty that when you die you will be with the Father in Heaven? If you have even 1% uncertainty then you need to re-examine your relationship with God. He has promised to all who believe and are baptized that they have a place in Heaven. While the thought of dying can be scary we can take comfort that our earthly bodies remain here and our souls will join the Lord in Heaven. He promises that and he never go back on His word. Pray that God will give you comfort and to help ready your spirit for your day of death. He promises he will be with us always, even in death.
