For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith- and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God- not by works, so that no one may boast. Ephesians 2:8
I am saved! You are saved! What does that mean? It means that we have hope! Jesus died on the cross for all our sins and by doing so He saved us from eternal damnation. How awesome! We no longer have to feel lost in this world because we have the gift of eternal life! No matter how many times we sin it is forgiven through the blood of Jesus Christ! Think about this: If you were lost and wandering in the desert you would be seeking for shelter, water and hopefully a way out! How miserable you would feel. Hungry, thirsty, hot and hopeless. Jesus is our rescuer! We no longer have to feel hungry or thirsty because we have His word to fill us! Remind yourself on days where you feel hopeless that Jesus is there for you and you are SAVED! What joy that brings to a heart filled with despair!
