My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness. Therefore, I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ's sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecution, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong. 2 Corinthians 12:9-10
The scripture above is one of my favorites and I think about it often. What it's saying that in our times of weakness the Lord is with us all the more. It's when we need Him the most! We all have our weaknesses whether it be in over indulging in chocolate or a as severe as sexual immortality. I have weaknesses just like anyone else and struggle continuously with them! All I can do is give it over to the Lord and know that He is with me through my struggles. If we didn't have struggles we wouldn't need the Lord would we?! That's why He's there! He wants to help us and all we have to do is ask! Are you having a weak moment? Pray that God will make you strong. Ask Him to send His Holy Spirit into your heart today! It's the best armor we have as Christians against this world!
