Dear John
I have one stipulation about using my photos at no charge.
1. I receive photo credit
2. If the item is published I would appreciate a copy of the item.
You do have my permission to use the photo and I did take it.
The photo was taken on the reverse side of Hill 605 in the Mundungni valley of North Korea. in November 1951. We also had a M4 Sherman on the hill with us, but I have no picture of it.
Whatever photos of mine listed on the 7th ID site are all my collection. I suggested to Don that he show the photograpers or collectors name. Don has another dozen or so of my pictures but hasnt posted them yet. I think he is doing a fine job with it all. If you need any more info let me know. cplbobh@citlink.net. B

Dear Bob Heuerman, I had used a picture which I thought was a U.S. Army Photo. However, Donald Shook has advised me otherwise. He indicates that you supplied the photo for the 7th Infantry web page. I would be sorely remiss in not seeking permission to use your photo and labeling it properly. May I have your permission to use the photo of the quad 50 for my father's story? The link to where the photo is used and documented, is at the following web address: http://members.cox.net/lostbastards/quad50.htm
It is also "snap shotted" and linked to the above on the following web page: http://members.cox..net/lostbastards/notes.htm
The "Lost Bastards" story starts at:

A similar picture in content of a "Dual 40" is at the following web address: http://members.cox.net/lostbastards/dual40.htm This photo has no caption or who supplied it on the 7th Infantry web page. Is it your photo? If it is yours, may I have permission to use it? If the captions and credit is not correct, I would be happy to change it as needed. If I do not get your permission, or reply, I will remove the picture and use a less desirable photo. Please let me know. John R. Carpenter La Mesa, CA (619) 466-5735
