Hello Bill, Thank you! I placed a copy of this message at the bottom of the web page with the high lights of your pictures. I used white letters so they are hidden. This way I will always have your address and kind permission. If you get a chance, please read the story and let me know what you think. Thanks again! John R. Carpenter La Mesa, CA

Hi John;
No problem, you can use the photo's. We used the radar up on the DMZ as a early warning system in attempt to prevent the North Korean's, or whom ever from infiltrating into the South. If there is anything else I can help you with just drop me a line.
Bill

Subject: 7thInfantry.com Inquiry
Dear William Beaver, I had used a picture which I thought was a U.S. Army Photo. However, Donald Shook has advised me otherwise. He indicates that you supplied the photo for the 7th Infantry web page. I would be sorely remiss in not seeking permission to use your photo and labeling it properly. May I have your permission to use the photo for my father's story? In addition I would like to use the photo of you on the same page with the same equipment. The link to where the photos are used and documented, is at the following web address: http://members.cox.net/lostbastards/ground.htm The first picture is "snap shotted" and linked to the above on the following web page: http://members.cox..net/lostbastards/radar.htm The "Lost Bastards" story starts at: http://members.cox..net/lostbastards/index.htm If the captions and credit are not correct, I would be happy to change it as needed. If I do not get your permission, or reply, I will remove the picture. Please let me know. John R. Carpenter La Mesa, CA (619) 466-5735
