Lotus Stuff
Here is where I'll place "stuff". I define "stuff" as stuff that doesn't fit in with the buttons I have for the other stuff.
- I've tried to document some Europa buying tips. I hope they help.
- Here is a four page color Lotus Europa S2 brochure. Actually only the first page is in color. I found this in a box of other stuff (there's that word again). I also have a similar brochure for an Elan S4. Holler if you would like to see it.
- A member of our local Phoenix Lotus club (LOOP) has a nearly perfect 1961 Lotus Elite that I just have to share with you.
- If you want to check the calibration of your gauges or just learn how they work, I did some testing that may help.
- Do you have problems with those rocker switches for your electric windows? Maybe my switch rebuild description will help.
- Another problem switch is the headlight switch. I found it relatively easy to rebuild this expensive and hard to find item.
- If you need to look up Europa specifications, I have TC specifications and S2 specifications available.
- Europa schematic diagrams. Are you trying to fix an electrical problem on a Europa? If not, you probably don't have a Europa. My shop manual has diagrams for almost all versions of the Europa. I suspect that many Europa owners do not have a shop manual so I am including the diagrams here. They were scanned and then laboriously cleaned up. The lines are straight and the text is sharp. Tip: If you make changes to your cars wiring, mark the changes on the diagram so both you and a possible future owner will be able to understand what you did.
You probably will not be able to get a good hardcopy by printing from your browser. It will probably generate multiple overlaping pages. Instead, save the images by right clicking on them and then left clicking on "Save Image As...". Save the image file in a suitable location and then view/print with a graphics program such as Ulead PhotoImpact or Adobe PhotoShop, etc. You can also download and use a freeware view program such as Xnview or IrfanView (see InfranView notes).

To insure that InfanView works correctly with these GIF files, you must not use the "Fit to the desktop" function. On the Image menu, uncheck "Best Fit to Desktop." On the Options - Properties - Viewing menu, uncheck "Always Fit To Desktop For Big Images."
