Thanks for visiting LovesChihuahuas.Com, home of Chielle Chihuahuas - a small hobby breeder/exhibitor dedicated to preserving and furthering this most wonderful little breed - and a place for all those who LOVE Chihuahuas!
Chielle Chihuahuas is located in the rolling hills of beautiful Southern California (about 1 hr. N. of San Diego), and is home to quality AKC Chihuahuas (NO substandard knock-off registries such as APRI, ConKC, ACA, APR, etc.!) - beautiful and well-tempered (no ankle biters!), in a gorgeous rainbow of colors & patterns, including blue, brindle, merle, chocolate, both long & smooth coat varieties. I breed for the Chihuahua standard as set forth by the Chihuahua Club of America and recognized by AKC. I have beautiful MERLE CHIHUAHUAS from quality show lines; I also have lovely NON-MERLE Chihuahuas and MERLE FREE PEDIGREES from the breed's top show lines. My goal is the establishment of a line of show quality Chihuahuas that are not just beautiful, but are also sound, healthy, and happy - exceptional representatives of the breed in ALL aspects. While I am breeding to improve and exhibit my own line, show prospect and loving companion Chihuahuas may occasionally be available to approved, loving homes.

(There is SO MUCH MORE to breeding a better Chihuahua than just "counting champions"!) * I will choose my breeding dogs for not only their beauty, but also genetic soundness, health and good temperament, as ALL are requirements of a QUALITY breeding program. * I will strive to consistently produce offspring that EXEMPLIFY the breed standard. * I will take note of the strengths and weaknesses of each dog and characteristics of each litter and make informed breeding choices, always BREEDING FOR BETTERMENT. * I will be ever mindful of the impact my breeding program has on the FUTURE OF MY BREED. * I will NOT place for breeding with others a dog I would not breed myself; I AM RESPONSIBLE for what I place into the breed gene pool and take that responsibility SERIOUSLY. * I will place ALL non-breedworthy dogs spay/neuter in companion homes; ALL dogs should be loved, but NOT all dogs should be bred. * I will take back any Chihuahua I have placed in another home, for every precious life I bring into this world is MY responsibility. * I will endeavor to help newcomers to the breed, teaching not only by word but by EXAMPLE. * While I breed for and happily celebrate my own successes in the show ring, I will be not begrudge others their success and will be gracious in both wins and losses. This is a labor of LOVE - NOT EGO. * Last - but certainly not least - I will be constantly led by the goal of producing THE PERFECT CHIHUAHUA! |
