I now have Gleason 9 prostate cancer, but I do not know it.

The PSA test was overlooked in 2003, and it is taken in August of 2004. It is now 4.3, but the doctor either does not get the lab result, or most likely, it has been lost in the busy but small office of a family doctor's practice. The window of opportunity for local treatment is now slammed shut, and my battle with advanced, high risk, prostate cancer is about to begin.
